1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using HiDocument, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

HiDocument is an AI-powered document intelligence platform. We use Anthropic's Claude AI to generate analysis of documents you upload. Output is informational only and is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, or medical advice.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) upload documents you do not have the right to process; (b) attempt to disrupt or overload the service; (c) use the service for unlawful purposes; (d) reverse engineer or scrape the service; (e) misrepresent your identity.

4. Pricing and billing

The Free plan is provided at no cost. The Pro plan is billed monthly at $12/month via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period upon cancellation. We offer a 14-day refund window on the first month.

5. Account responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

6. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to documents you upload. By using the service, you grant HiDocument a limited license to process your documents through Claude AI for the sole purpose of providing analysis to you. We do not use your documents to train AI models or for any other purpose.

7. AI accuracy disclaimer

HiDocument relies on AI models that may produce errors. Output is provided "as is" without warranty. You are responsible for verifying any AI-generated information before relying on it. HiDocument is not a substitute for legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiDocument and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time via the billing dashboard or by emailing support.

10. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
